The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that Zachary Reim has announced his commitment to play Division III hockey and attend Augsburg University!

Reim is a 6’1” left-shooting defenseman from North Oakes, MN who joined the Wings during the 2022-23 season. This season, he appeared in all 60 regular season games scoring 3 goals, 12 assists, with 15 total points. Reim was also named Assistant Captain for the Wings during the 23-24 season, and has played a vital role in his leadership position.

“Zach’s exactly what we look for in an Aberdeen Wing” said Head Coach Scott Langer. “He has upheld the culture of this organization since day one. He was one of three players to play all 60 regular season games. This speaks volumes to his dedication to our logo.”

“I am proud to announce that I will be attending and playing hockey at Augsburg University next year” said Zach Reim. “I am looking forward to playing with Wings alumni and competing for National Championships. Thanks to the Wings organization and fans for a great two seasons”.

Reim will be joining former Aberdeen Wings forward, and former Assistant Captain, Landon Parker. This season, Augsburg had a 15-9-2 overall record under Head Coach Garrett Hendrickson, and Assistant Coaches Jarrad Vroman, Hunter Anderson, and Tim Lawson.
