Thank you for your interest in the Aberdeen Wings. We are looking for the next Wings players!

The Aberdeen Wings have become a top destination for high end players from across the world. Our winning culture, family atmosphere, and development and advancement of players is one of the best in junior hockey. You will find that there is no better place to grow both on and off ice.

The city of Aberdeen is home to over 28,000 people giving it a small town feel with big city attractions. Thousands of people from across the country travel to Aberdeen each year to experience the outdoors and our many attractions. Our Aberdeen Wings players are well known and respected throughout the city.

The Aberdeen Wings play their home games in the Odde Ice Center. The arena seats over 2,000 devoted fans and fills up early every home game. The Odde features above the ice suites, an NHL style locker room, player lounge, and a private training facility for the Wings.

The Aberdeen Wings have worked hard to create a culture of family and success. That success begins at the top with Head Coach Scott Langer. Coach Langer is one of the most successful junior coaches in the United States and holds the record for most wins in NAHL history.

That success has propelled the Wings to numerous NAHL Central Division Regular Season Championships, NAHL Central Division Playoff Championships, and 2018-2019 Robertson Cup National Championship.

The Wings success also shows off the ice. The Wings strive to give back to the community that support them by reading in classrooms, volunteering at the South Dakota school for the Blind and Visually Impaired, teaching at the YMCA, teaching skating lessons and so much more. The Wings have had several players receive the NAHL Leadership award for their work in the community.

The Aberdeen Wings and our top-level coaching staff have earned over 300 NCAA college commitments, including more than 200 players to Division I hockey. Our staff is highly committed to developing and advancing players. This drive has produced numerous high impact players who went on to play NCAA Hockey and beyond including Nathan Smith (NHL), Kevin Fitzgerald (AHL), Andy Carroll (AHL), Matt Vernon (ECHL), Joey Strada (ECHL), and more.
