Wings Win Round 1 Friday!

Aberdeen 4 @ Austin 1 – Wings goalie Henry Welsch made 24 saves and Natan Vertes had three points as the Wings picked up a 4-1 road win in Austin. Aberdeen opened the scoring early in the 1st period on a goal from Connor Beatty. The Bruins tied the game later in period with their lone tally from Ben Almquist. In the 2nd period, Cooper Haar scored the eventual game-winning goal and Antonio DiPaolo and Vertes added 3rd period goals. Bruins goalie Tyler Shea took the loss, making 23 saves.
