Aberdeen 6 @ Brookings 1 – The Wings offense was firing on all cylinders as they demolished the Brookings Blizzard 6-1. Shawn Kennedy and Stepan Porkorny each lit the lamp twice in the win. John Sladic and Nic Sicoly also scored for Aberdeen. Matt Vernon had a easy night in goal as he made 20 saves on 21 shots. Shane Hathaway got the only goal for Brookings. George McBey made 20 saves while Jack Caruso stopped eight shots.
