Austin 2 @ Aberdeen 3 (SO) – The Aberdeen Wings winning streak increased to 18 games as Joe Strada scored the only goal of the shootout to lift the Wings to a 3-2 win over the Austin Bruins. Brad Belisle had two points for Aberdeen and Stepan Pokorny also scored for Aberdeen. Reginald Millette and Dante Sheriff scored the two goals for Austin in regulation. Matt Vernon denied 31 Austin shots and stopped all three shooters in the shootout. Kyle McClellan was on the losing side as he made 40 stops.
