The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that forward Grant Kohnen has signed a tender for the 2023-24 season.
The right-hander from Woodbury, MN currently has 44 points (22 goals, 22 assists) in 22 games for East Ridge High School in Minnesota. He’s also spent time with the NAPHL 18U Chippewa Falls Steel 18U AAA, where is had six goals and seven assists in 12 games played.
“He is a very skilled, crafty forward with great vision and shoot first mentality. He plays a very solid 200 foot game and works hard all over the ice,” Wings head coach Scott Langer said. “His quick foot skill is very high end and he’s not afraid to battle along the wall, to create offense. He is a great fit for what we have building for our future.”
