Wings Offense Stalls On Saturday

Oct 2, 2023

The Wings headed into Saturday’s game looking for the weekend sweep and 2 more points, however the offense never clicked and the Wings fell 0-4 to the Norsemen who took 3 points on the weekend.

Gavin Gunderson put the Norsemen up 1-0 at the 6:40 mark of the 1st period With Berg and Wandall assisting.  Just 3 minutes later Niklas Miller would make it 2-0 with assists going to K. Miller and Munoz to take a 2-0 lead into the locker room.  Lucca Munoz would score in the 2nd and another in the 3rd to complete the 4-0 shutout.  Getting assists on the Munoz goals were Geyer, Wehmann, Wandall & Gunderson.  Adam Dybal was in net for the Wings and made 35 saves on 39 shots.  Ryan Manzella was perfect for St. Cloud stopping all 18 shots he faced.

The Wings continue their road trip this weekend when they head to Minot to take on the well rested Minotauros who have not played a game since the NAHL Showcase.  Puck Drop is scheduled for 7:35pm both nights.
