Wings Name Sicoly, Bendorf & Weigel Captains!

The Aberdeen Wings are pleased to announce that Nic Sicoly has been named Captain and Jonathan Bendorf & Dalton Weigel assistant captains for the 2018-2019 season!

Sicoly played in 51 games (5 playoff) for the Wings last season scoring 15 goals and 30 assists.  Nic is from Sault Ste. Marie Ontario.  He is a 5’9 170lb forward.  Last season was his first in the NAHL.  Previous to that he played in the OHL from the 2014 to the 2017 season.  Nic won the NOJHL Championship during the 14-15 season.  “Nic is exactly what you look for in a leader.  He does things the right way, everyday.  He would do anything for his teammates.” Wings Head Coach Scott Langer

Jonathan is also in his 2nd season with the Wings. Last season the 6’ 181lb forward from Yardville, NJ played in 49 games including 5 playoff games, he put up 51 points, 20 goals and 31 assists with the Wings and added another 4 goals and 2 assists in his 12 games with the Philadelphia Rebels. Jonathan also received the NAHL Central Division and NAHL League award for Community Service.  He has committed to play division I college hockey at Rensselaer Polytech. Inst. Dalton Weigel is a 5’11 187 lb defenseman from Bloomington, MN.  Dalton played his high school hockey at Breck in Minnesota.  He has committed to the Air Force Academy.  Last season Dalton had 4 goals and 12 assists (16 points) in 44 games played.  He also had 2 assists in 5 playoff games.  “Dalton plays and practices with a big passion for the logo on the jersey, he is a player that cares for his brothers in that dressing room.” Coach Langer
