It's no secret that the Aberdeen Wings have the best fans in the NAHL. For those who have never attended a game, it may seem like it's 'just' hockey. But those may be mistaken.
Since their inaugural season, the Aberdeen Wings have dedicated themselves to making sure the home game atmosphere doesn't just fuel the players on the ice, but also the best fans in hockey. Wings fans come out in force, having reached over 1,700 in attendance many times this season, while also leading the NAHL Central Division in average attendance for three straight seasons.
The Odde Ice Center underwent a $1,000,000 addition over the past off-season to increase the overall fan experience and facilities for the players. With the addition of two jumbo screens, Wings fans now get to enjoy game intro videos, crowd pump-up graphics, and even live play. Fans frequently comment on how there is not a bad seat in 'The Odde'. With general admission tickets just $10, the Wings offer the lowest ticket prices in the NAHL Central Division. With the highest attendance, the Wings are constantly adding to fan experience including light shows, promotions, and thanks to outstanding sponsors some fans may even leave the arena with $1,000 if they can score a goal from center-ice.
