Wings Fail To Comeback on Day Two

The Wings once again fell behind by a pair of goals early in game 2 of the NAHL Showcase, this time however they were unable to come back and fell to the Brahmas 1-5 on day two of the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN.  

After a scoreless 1st period, Lonestar was able to get on the board with a Ivan Zadvernyuk goal at the 4:25 mark.  Ray Murakami would get an unassisted goal just over 4 minutes later to give the Brahmas a 2-0 lead.  Jaxson Murray scored his 2nd goal of the season in as many games with Kohnen getting the assist at the 17:10 mark of the 2nd period to make it interesting heading into the 2nd intermission.  However, the 3rd period was all Lonestar as they netted 3 more goals to take the 5-1 win.  Adam Dybal was in net for the Wings and stopped 15 of 20 shots faced.
