Saturday Scores: Wings create separation with sweep
Austin 0 @ Aberdeen 3 – The Aberdeen Wings created some separation from the Austin Bruins in the Central Division as they finished off a sweep in which they didn’t allow a goal. Nathan Burke potted a pair of goals in the victory, John Sladic also scored for the Wings as they now have a six point lead in the Central Division. Gabe Vinal was excellent for the Wings as he turned aside all 29 shots thrown his way by the Bruins. Mads Sogaard made 33 saves for Austin.
The Wings will play a home & home series this coming weekend vs. Bismarck. Friday night the Wings will be on the road and Saturday night they will return to the Odde. $10 tickets are on sale now at any of the 4 C-Express locations in Aberdeen.
