Wings Captain Nic Sicoly Commits To Mount Royal University!

The Aberdeen Wings proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that Captain Nic Sicoly has announced his commitment to Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta Canada.  Nic is a Saulte Ste. Marie, ON Native.  The 5’9 170lb 21 year old is in his second season with the Wings.  Last season the Left handed forward served as one of the Wings assistant captains, played in 46 games for the Wings and put up 14 goals and 27 assists (41 points) with a +20 +-.  At the Wings annual awards banquet Nic was given the Heart Award.  Voted on by his teammates and the Wings staff, the Heart Award is given to the player who digs deeper and plays the game from the heart.  This season Nic was named team captain and thus far has played in 38 games with 21 points and 17 assists (38 points).
