Wings Battle, Come Up Short 2-1

The Aberdeen Wings took on the Minnesota Wilderness in the second game of the home series at the Odde Ice Center. The Wings would get on the board, but would come up short 2-1.

In the 2nd period, Wings rookie #18 Austin Swingle (F-Sartell, MN) would chip one in on a loose puck in front of the net. The goal would come unassisted. At the 17:16 mark in the 2nd period the Wilderness would notch things up with a goal from #12 Johno May.

40 seconds into the third period the Wilderness would deliver another goal from #15 Jakob Romo making it 2-1. Throughout the third period the Wings would battle hard to tie things up but would come up short. The Aberdeen Wings are now 10-6-1.
