Wings Acquire Two New Players

Jan 22, 2012

The Aberdeen Wings have made a trade with the Texas Tornados of the NAHL.  The Wings have traded Goaltender Frederick Hunter Leisner for Forward CJ Reuschlein, Goaltender Reid Mimmack as well as other future terms that have not yet been disclosed.  Head Coach and General Manager Pete Sauer had this to say about the trade,” Trading Hunter was one of the hardest coaching decisions I have ever had to make. As much as we all love him and as hard as it is to see him go, he will have the opportunity to play near his home in Texas. I am looking forward to having CJ and Reid join team later this week.”

Forward CJ Reuschlein comes to the Wings after playing in 38 games this season for Texas, where Reuschlein had 12 goals and 16 assists for the Tornados.  CJ faced the Wings earlier in the year when Aberdeen beat the Tornados in the showcase tournament in Blaine, MN.
