Two former Aberdeen Wings players will match up against each other in the Clark Cup finals of the United States Hockey League. Peter Krieger and Joe Sullivan were teammates last year with the Aberdeen Wings. Both have moved on to the USHL this season, but on separate sides of the Clark Cup Championship.
Former Wings forward Joe Sullivan, now a member of the Indiana Ice has played in 58 games this season scoring 7 goals and 10 assists. Sullivan scored his first goal of the USHL Playoffs in a 3-1 win to move the Ice into the championship finals against Waterloo.
Peter Krieger, a member of the 2012-2013 Aberdeen Wings has played in 60 games for the Waterloo Blackhawks scoring 26 goals and 41 assists. So far in the USHL playoffs, Krieger has scored 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points.
Waterloo and Indiana will face-off starting May 9th in hopes of clinching the Clark Cup.
