Spillum Commits to DI Colorado College!

Your Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce the commitment of defenseman and NAHL Top Prospect Keenan Spillum to Division I Colorado College.  The 6’3 185lb 1997 birth year, Phoenix, AZ native is in his 2nd season with the Wings, before that he spent 2 ½ years with the Corpus Christi Ice Rays.  In his 4 seasons in the NAHL Keenan has played in 215 games and has 6 goals and 30 assists, 36 points including 14 playoff games.  Spillum also spent time in late February at the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Michigan.  “Keenan is one of the highest character players I have ever coached.  He is a player that’s committed to doing things the right way each and everyday.  Keenan’s ability to think the game at a very high level will make him an exceptional college hockey player.” –Head Coach Scott Langer

 

Colorado College finished the 2017-2018 season with a 15-17-5 overall record, including going 8-12-4 in the NCHC.  The tigers are coached my Mike Haviland, who is in his 4th season with CC.  He is the 14th head coach in program history.  He has more then 20 years of hockey experience including time in the NCAA, ECHL, AHL & NHL.
