Special Jersey Auction – Sat, Nov 8

The Aberdeen Wings will be holding their annual benefit Special Jersey Auction this Saturday, November 8th at the Odde Ice Center following the game against the Minnesota Wilderness.

This year, the Aberdeen Wings have teamed up with the Aberdeen Area Humane Society to help raise funds for their operations. The Aberdeen Area Humane Society serves the Northern South Dakota and Southern North Dakota Area. They operate in the interests of animal welfare. They place homeless animals into good homes as well as rescue animals from abusive situations. They have a shelter facility just S.W. of Aberdeen and house many animals while trying to find them good homes.

The Aberdeen Area Humane Society is a non-profit organization and are funded by memberships, donations, fundraisers and adoptions. Each season, the Wings franchise dedicates itself to helping organizations and fundraiser in the community to better that provide support for the people of Aberdeen and the area. In the past, the special jersey auctions have raised money for Safe Harbor, local military families, Aberdeen Youth hockey, and Sanford Health/Breast Cancer Awareness.

Join us this Friday and Saturday as the Aberdeen Wings take on the Minnesota Wilderness at the Odde Ice Center. Friday night will feature the “Wings Dog Race” during the first intermission. Saturday night will be the special jersey auction following the game.
