Simon Pollock has Announced his Commitment to Play Division III Hockey at St. Olaf College!

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that Simon Pollock has announced his commitment to play Division III hockey at St. Olaf College!

Pollock, a 6’2” 185 lbs left-shot forward from Victoria, BC, CAN, played in his first season with the Wings, and was named Assistant Captain. In 58 games, he scored 10 goals, 29 assists, for 39 total points. Simon stayed within the top 6 leading scorers on the team throughout the 23-24 season. Before his time in the NAHL, Simon played in the BCHL and the SJHL.

“I’m proud to announce that I will be continuing my hockey career and starting my education at St. Olaf College” said Simon Pollock. “I’m looking forward to playing in the MIAC division and competing for national championships every year! I want to thank my parents, teammates, coaches, billets, and everyone in the Wings organization for helping me along the way. Playing for the Wings for my last junior hockey season was a blessing, I’m thankful for everyone who helped me along the way!”

Head Coach Scott Langer explains “Simon as a first year Wing came in and instantly supplied leadership. He had an honest work rate that separates him from others. Simon will be a good college hockey player.”

St. Olaf, located in Northfield, MN, had a 14-12-3 overall record under Head Coach Eddie Effinger, and Assistant Coaches Tyler Lindstrom and Terry VanDeWalker.
