Aberdeen 3 vs. Fairbanks 0 – Jake Sibell stopped all 33 shots that came his way for his first shutout of the season as the Wings picked up their first win of the 2019-20 season and Showcase with a 3-0 blanking of the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in a rematch of the Robertson Cup Championship Game of 2019. All three Wings goals came in the 1st period as Jordan Randall, Riley Murphy, and Natan Vertes all lit the lamp. For Vertes it was his 5th goal of the Showcase. Fairbanks goalie Mattias Sholl made 23 saves in the loss.
