This Friday, truly begins the process of a winning season for 2015-2016. The Aberdeen Wings Pre-Draft Evaluation Camp kicks off Friday, May 22 and runs through Sunday in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
High school and AAA players, hopeful of playing in the NAHL will converge on the St. Thomas Ice Arena to be seen by the Wings scouting and coaching staff, evaluating each player and chemistry. All of these players are essentially free agents, and eligible for the 2015 NAHL Draft which will be held on June 9th. Other players are looking to return to their AAA/high school teams, but are potential players to be tendered during the season.
The Aberdeen Wings last year held 7 draft picks. Out of those players drafted last season, the Wings got a total 19 goals and 29 assists.
