The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, have announced the tender signing of Madson “Jibber” Kuhl ahead of the 2023-24 hockey season.

The 6’2″ 203 lb. forward from Wayzata, Minnesota is currently playing for Wayzata High, where he’s grabbed five goals and an assist in just five games played. The year previously, he had a goal and an assist in 26 games played for Wayzata.

Wings head coach Scott Langer described Kuhl as a “power forward with a solid 200-foot game.”

“He plays hard in all areas of the ice, has a very quick release on his shots and finds ways to score big goals,” he said. “He skates very well for his size and has great vision in the offensive zone. He’s scored five goals in his first five games, in one of the best MN High school conferences in the state, and is a key contributor for Wayzata. He’ll fit in nicely with our style of play and we look forward to him in a Wings jersey.”
