Max Salpeter Commits To The University Of Wisconsin Eau Claire!

Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that 1st year defenseman and NAHL Top Prospect Max Salpeter has announced his commitment to The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.  Max played in 59 regular season games for the Wings this year earning 27 points (1 goals, 25 assists).  So far through 6 playoff games Max has added 2 more assists.  Before coming to the Wings Max spent time in the SJHL as well as the AJHL both in Canada.  He was the Wings 2nd draft pick in the 2018 NAHL Entry Draft.  The 21 year old 6’4 209lb righty from St. Albert, AB will head off to Eau Claire next fall.

The University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire is located in Eau-Claire, WI.  They play DIII Hockey and are members of the WIAC Conference.  This past season they had an overall record of 19-7-2 and fell in the WIAC Championship Game to the eventual National Champion UW-Stevens Point 3-2.
