“Matt is a perfect example of what the NAHL is all about. He has utilized his two years the right way and fought for this opportunity. He is a hard working individual that conducts himself like a pro. His work ethic and leadership are why he opened doors to play at the next level, and I believe will be the reason he has success at Colorado College.”—Wings Head Coach Scott Langer
“I want to thank the Wings organization, the Odde family, Coach Langer, Coach Hill, Coach Bohn, my billets, my teammates, the community of Aberdeen, my family and my friends for helping me with my journey to this point. I could not have done it without everyone. I look forward to finishing out the year strong and getting my college career started at Colorado College!”—Matt Vernon
