John Sladic Commits to Miami University!

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that forward and recent NAHL Top Prospect John Sladic has announced his commitment to Miami University of Ohio.

John is a 98 birth year, 5’9 168lb forward from Novi, MI.  He has been with the Wings for 2 seasons playing in 108 games and scoring 93 points, 37 goals & 56 assists, including 5 playoff games.  John was the 1st selection by the Aberdeen Wings and 10th overall in the 2017 NAHL Entry Draft.  John participated in the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament just a few weeks ago where he had 1 goal in 2 games played.

  The Miami University RedHawks (Ohio) are located in Oxford, OH.  They play on the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).  This season they have an overall record of 11-19-4 going 5-15-2 in conference play.  Former Wings defenseman Taylor Richart (2010-2011) also attended Miami university.
