Dec 28, 2019

Your Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that Forward Jakob Breault has announced his decision to play Division I hockey at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  Jakob joins Forward Riley Murphy and Defenseman Antonio DiPaolo, who were announced earlier this week.  All three players committed to the Nanooks on Thursday.  Jakob is a 5”11 181lbs left handed forward from Acton Vale, QC Canada.  Breault came to the Aberdeen Wings from the Notre Dame Hounds of the SJHL.  Jakob was a first round pick by the Wings in last summers NAHL draft.  So far this season Jakob has played in 30 games and has 11 goals and 22 assists (33 points) with a +11 (+-).

“Jakob possesses high hockey intelligence that allows him to not only play big minutes, but also a large roll for the Wings. He has been a huge piece of our first half success and will be a great addition at Alaska Fairbanks.”  Wings Head Coach Scott Langer

“I am honored to announce my commitment to play division 1 hockey at the University of Alaska Fairbanks . I would like to thank all my teammates, my coaches, friends, family, billets and the wings family who helped me through the process . I look forward to being a Nanook.” Jakob Breault
