Sep 20, 2013

The Aberdeen Wings took on the Topeka Roadrunners in their final game of the NAHL Showcase. The game would be a back-and-forth match for most of the first period. A late penalty by Topeka would put Aberdeen on the powerplay. Wings defenseman #4 Jake Horton (D-Plymouth, MN) would fire a shot that would find the back of the net to put the Wings up 1-0. #20 Dillon Eichstadt (D-Bemidji, MN) and #21 Bjorn Sigurdarson (F-Reykjavik, Iceland) would get the assists. The 3rd period was more of the same as the first. Wings goalie #30 Henry Dill (G-Columbus, OH) saved 21 of 21 shots from Topeka earning his second NAHL victory.
