Henry Welsch Announces His Commitment to Division I UMass Lowell!

Your Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that goaltender Henry Welsch has committed to play Division I hockey at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  Henry is a 6’2 194 pound goaltender from Lakeville, MN.  The 19 year old is in his 2nd season with the Wings.  He joined the Wings at the end of their 2018-2019 Robertson Cup Championship Season.  He has played in 19 games for the Wings  this season and has a 1.84 GAA and a .934 Save %.

UMass Lowell is located in Lowell, MA.  They play in the Hockey East Conference.  They are coached by Norm Bazin who is in his 9th season with a 187-100-26 record.  Their mascot is Rowdy the River Hawk.
