Haak Leads Air Force in Friday Night Win

Oct 12, 2015

Former Aberdeen Wing Kyle Haak made his presence known, scoring two goals in Air Force's 5-4 overtime win against #5 Denver on Friday night.  The Okemos, MI native scored the go-ahead goal for the Falcons on the power play at 10:29 of the second period and also potted the squad's fourth goal at 11:18 of the third period.

"We are happy to see Kyle start his freshman season by getting on the score sheet in a big way," Wings Head Coach Francis Anzalone said.  "Kyle does it right every day and has a bright future ahead of him.  We look forward to seeing him do great things at Air Force this season."

Haak spent three full seasons in Aberdeen (2012-15) and captained the Wings during the 2014-2015 season.  He represented the Wings and the Central Division at last year's NAHL Top Prospects Event, and amassed 120 points in 175 regular season games over three years in Aberdeen.
