Grebosky Named MIAC All-Rookie Team

Former Wings forward and current Concordia-Moorhead Cobber freshman Jon Grebosky was named to the MIAC All-Rookie Team for the 2014-2015 season.

Grebosky was tied for seventh in the MIAC in scoring by a freshman. He had six goals and four assists for 10 points in his first league season. He helped lead the Cobbers to a PrimeLink Great Northern Shootout Championship on the east coast. Concordia fell to St. Mary’s in the MIAC Playoffs but are excited about next season.

Grebosky played in two seasons for the Aberdeen Wings scoring a total 25 goals and 48 assists. The Oakdale, Pennsylvania native was also named to the 2014 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament and had a game-winning goal.

Cobbers teammate and fellow former Wings forward Zach Doerring added 4 goals and 8 assists last season. Cobbers teammate Sam Coborn, who played 20 games for the Wings, added 3 assists this season and Alex Koopmeiener who briefly played for the Wings had one assist. Former Wings goaltender Jordyn Kaufer, also now with Concordia was 7-5-3 with a 2.21 goals against average.
