Grebosky Makes College Commitment

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce on his behalf, that Wings forward #24 Jonathan Grebosky (F-Pittsburgh, PA) has committed to play collegiate hockey at Concordia-Moorhead.

Grebosky, in his second season with the Aberdeen Wings has been solid offensively and defensively along the boards. He has played in 106 games with the Wings since coming over in a trade from the Corpus Christi Ice Rays. In his NAHL career, Grebosky has tallied 34 goals and 60 assists for 94 points.

“We are very happy for Johnny,” said Wings head coach Travis Winter. “He has been a great player and ambassador of our program for two years.”

This year, Grebosky was selected to represent the NAHL Central team in the 2014 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Troy, Michigan this past February. The all-star type round robin tournament offered the selected players the opportunity to perform in front of many professional and collegiate hockey scouts. In the final game for the NAHL Central team, Grebosky scored the game-winning goal.

“Concordia is a great place to play and led by a great coach in Coach Howe,” added Coach Winter. “We wish Johnny the best and I believe he’ll be a great player for them.”
