Eichstadt, Roo received Weekly NAHL Honors

The North American Hockey League announced the Divisional Stars of the Week for play over the weekend. The Aberdeen Wings received two honorable mentions after splitting with the Bismarck Bobcats.

#11 TJ Roo (F-Coon Rapids, MN) received honors for his play in the weekend series. He scored the first goal for the Wings in Friday night’s game in Aberdeen and also added assists to goals by Eichstadt and #21 Bjorn Sigurdarson (F-Reykjavik, Iceland). Roo would tally 3 points for the game. Saturday night, Roo offered an assist to the goal by #4 Jake Horton (D-Plymouth, MN). Roo currently has 8 goals, 17 assists, and 25 points on the season which is tied for 9th best in the NAHL for assists and tied for 18th overall in points scored.

#20 Dillon Eichstadt (D-Bemidji, MN) received honors for his play in the weekend series. Eichstadt scored a power play goal in the 2nd period at home Friday night against Bismarck while also offering assists to two goals for Roo and Sigurdarson for 3 points on the game. He currently has 17 points on the season which is tied for 9th best in the NAHL among defenseman. Eichstadt has only played in 21 of 30 games for the Wings due to being called up to the USHL’s Sioux City Musketeers and also spending time as an injured-scratch.
