The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that Croix Kochendorfer has announced his commitment to play Division I Hockey and attend Robert Morris University!

Kochendorfer is a 6’4 goaltender from St. Paul, Minnesota who joined the Aberdeen Wings partway through the 23-24 season. He has appeared in 17 games with the Wings, has a 2.40 GAA and a .929 SV%. Croix also appeared in games with the Chippewa Steel (NAHL), the Sioux City Musketeers (USHL), and the Omaha Lancers (USHL).

“Croix came in and added maturity to our group right away. He is a competitive athlete that is all about his teammates. Croix will thrive as he continues down his path to the NCAA.” Wings Head Coach and GM Scott Langer.

“I’m super excited for this opportunity and to be a part of a special program. I couldn’t thank my family, friends, and coaches enough. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today without their endless support. I am pumped for what the future holds!” Croix Kochendorfer

Kochendorfer will be joining former Aberdeen Wings forward Dominic Schimizzi. In RMU’s first season back after being reinstated in 2021, they have a 11-25-3 overall record under Head Coach Derek Schooley, Associate Head Coach Matt Nicholson, and Assistant Coach Ryan Durocher.
