Your Aberdeen Wings will be playing for the NAHL Robertson Cup National Championship Tuesday night in Blaine, MN. Standing in their way are the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. The Wings advanced after defeating the Amarillo Bulls In a best of 3 semifinals match up 2-1. Fairbanks also took their series to a game 3 and took away a 6-3 win over the top seeded Johnstown Tomahawks. This isn’t a series however, it is a 1 game winner take all game. Fairbanks has an 8-1-0 record this post season with their only loss coming in game 1 vs. Johnstown. The Wings bring a 8-2-1 post season record into Tuesday nights championship game. The two teams have not met this season.
