The Aberdeen Wings will say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022 with a pair of games at home inside the Odde Ice Center.
After enjoying their holiday break at home with their families, the team will return to Aberdeen for a week of practice heading into New Year’s Weekend. That’s when the St. Cloud Norsemen will head to the Hub City for their second trip this season.
The teams have met twice before this season — one weekend at home and, most recently, away inside the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex. So far this season, the Wings are 1-3-0-0 against the Norsemen, and they’ll be looking to tighten that gap after the New Year’s Weekend games.
Doors open inside the Odde Ice Center at 5:30 p.m. ahead of a 7:15 p.m. puck drop on Friday, Dec. 31. Fans can purchase tickets ahead of the game online at tickets.AberdeenWings.com, or at the door. $10 general admission tickets are available at any C-Express location in Aberdeen, with additional purchase, and $15 AutoMaxx Party Deck barstool seats are also available — call Aaron at 605-380-5852 to reserve your spot.
The Aberdeen termite group will play a scrimmage during the first intermission on Friday’s game. Fans can still purchase Chuck-A-Puck for the game’s second intermission.
On Saturday, Jan. 1, we welcome MyPlace Hotels as the game’s corporate sponsor. Swing out for some fun giveaways when the doors open at 5:30 p.m.; once again, the puck is scheduled to hit the ice at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the door, and you can also get your $10 general admission tickets at any C-Express location in Aberdeen, with additional purchase.
Stay in your seats during the first intermission Saturday to watch the Aberdeen mites play a scrimmage, then get your pucks for Chuck-A-Puck for second intermission.
