Your Aberdeen Wings used another offensive explosion to claim their 3rd straight win and move them into 1st place in the Central Division.  Zach Noble got the party started with a goal at the 10:33 mark of the 1st period.  Assisting on the Noble goal were Strada & Britt.  Just moments later Brookings would tie the game at 1.  The teams would go into the 1st intermission tied at 1.  That wouldn’t last long though as Nic Sicoly would get his 2nd of the season and give the Wings a 2-1 lead.  Assisting on the goal were Kelly & Sladic.  Brookings would once again respond just 20 seconds later making it a 2-2 tie.  Jonathan Bendorf would get his first goal as a Wing and the eventual game winner less then a minute later.  Pitters & Carballo assisted on the Bendorf goal.  Nathan Burke would add 2 power play goals late in the 3rd to give the Wings a 5-2 Friday night win.  Assisting on the two Burke goals were Noble, Strada & Makowski.  Gabe Vinal was once again brilliant in net stopping 19 of the 21 shots he faced.

The two teams will meet again Saturday, this time at the Odde Ice Center.  Its Military Appreciation Night!  All Military Personnel will receive FREE admission and their families will receive a discount at the door!  Get there early for the Ultimate Graphics hat give away!  Doors open at 5:30 and the puck always drops at 7:15!
