October 19th 2013 your Aberdeen Wings played host to the Austin Bruins in front of nearly 1,500 people at the Odde Ice Center.  Austin was able to get on the board first and fast.  Just 27 seconds into the game the Bruins had the lead 1-0.  At the 4:03 mark the Bruins would extend their lead to 2-0.  After that it was all Aberdeen.  Patrick Steinhauser put the Wings on the board at the midway point of the first, with assists from Cook & Baskin.  Erik Baskin would get a goal of his own just a few seconds later at the 10:35 mark.  Assisting on the Baskin goal were Steinhauser & Grebosky.  The Wings weren’t done yet as Aberdeen would get goals from TJ Roo & Jake Horton before the end of the first period.  Assisting on the Roo goal were Heller & Cook.  Heller & Roo assisted on the Horton goal.  Jonathan Grebosky would score the loan goal of the 2nd period from Sigurdarson & Roo.  Drew Doyon would finish off the scoring in the 3rd with an assist going to Palausch.  Chad Catt was in net for the Wings and made 31 saves on 33 shots.
