Your Aberdeen Wings were unable to overcome an early deficit Saturday night in Cloquet, MN.  The Wings went down 2-0 in the first period despite dominating possession and having more shots on goal.  Aberdeen put 11 shots on The Wilderness goaltender Micucci.  Minnesota was able to take advantage of their opportunities and put 2 past Wings goaltender Ploszaj.  Riley Murphy would get the lone goal of the 2nd period to get the Wings to within 1.  Colin Raver would tie the game with a tipped in shot from the point off the stick of Kmec.  The game would stay tied at 2 until the 7:01 mark of the 3rd when Minnesota scored on the power play.  With the win Minnesota tied the series at 1 game each.  The Series makes its way to the Odde Ice Center this coming Friday & Saturday May 5th & 6th.  The Wings still control home ice and have an opportunity to win the series on home ice with two wins.
