Your Aberdeen Wings took control of home ice Friday night with a tense 4-3 come from behind double overtime victory in Cloquet, MN over the 2nd seeded Minnesota Wilderness.  The Wings fell behind early with Minnesota’s Zach Mills lighting the lamp late in the 1st period.  The Wilderness would add another just 17 seconds into the 2nd period to take an early 2 goal lead.  About 6 and a half minutes later they added another to take a 3 goal lead and what seemed to be control of the game.  Carter Roo was able to get the Wings on the board right before intermission to make it a 2 goal game heading into the final 20 minutes.  Assisting on the Roo goal were Fitzgerald & Bossert.  The Wings used the momentum from the Roo goal and controlled play for most of the 3rd.  Fitzgerald was able to get the Wings to within a power play goal with a net crashing put back.  Assisting on the Fitzy goal were Jenuwine & Dimoff.  Just over 2 minutes later Colin Raver tied the game with Roo assisting.  Regulation would end in a 3-3 tie sending the game into overtime for the 2nd straight game for the Wings.  The Wings were able to put the puck into the net in the 1st overtime but the goal was disallowed because of being played with a high stick.  It took till the 18:03 mark of the 2nd overtime until Logan Jenuwine sprung to a breakaway and was able to beat the Wilderness goaltender in the top corner, giving the Wings a 4-3 double overtime win and control of home ice in the best of 5 series.  Assisting on the Jenuwine game winning goal was Dimoff.  Forbes Ploszaj stood tall in net stopping 50 of the 53 shots he faced.
