Team Vernon
Matt Vernon (2017-2019) is the pinnacle competitor who didn’t go a day in a Wings sweater without trying to
become the best. One of the best goaltenders in Aberdeen Wings history, he led the Wings to their first ever
Robertson Cup National Championship. His efforts earned him numerous franchise records including All-time
Overall Wins, Assists, and Points by a goaltender. Vernon also holds the Wings single season records for games
