Your Aberdeen Wings made it 8 straight on Friday night at the Odde Ice Center beating the Bismarck Bobcats 4-1!  Tyler Bossert (Fletcher & Kelly) got the Wings on the board with a precision shot over the glove side shoulder of the Bismarck goaltender.  Just a few minutes later Bossert (Noble) was able to out hustle a Bobcat defender to the puck and an eventual breakaway shorthanded goal, once again beating the Bismarck goaltender glove side.  The two teams ended the first period with the Wings leading 2-0.  Just under 2 minutes into the 2nd period Logan Jenuwine (Dimoff & Spillum) continued his scoring streak since joining the Wings!  Bismarck would get one back at around the 5 minute mark of the period to make it a 3-1 game heading into the 3rd period.  Carter Roo (Bossert & Kelly) would extend the Wings lead back to 3 goals just 52 seconds into the 3rd and that would be all the Wings would need as Forbes Ploszaj was once again brilliant in net stopping 29 of the 30 shots he faced.

The Wings are back at the Odde Ice Center in a rematch with these Bismarck Bobcats Saturday night.  Saturday is the annual Yelduz Shrine Teddy Bear Toss!  Bring a new teddy bear to throw onto the ice after the first Wings goal, all teddy bears will be donated to the Shrines Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis!  You will be able to purchase Teddy Bears in the lobby prior to the game!
