Your Aberdeen Wings made it 4 in a row Friday night at Riverside Arena beating the Austin Bruins 3-2 in a shootout!  Nathan Burke (Fitzgerald & Dimoff) got the Wings on the board early in the 1st period with a rebound goal.  Austin would answer and take the lead in the 2nd 2-1.  Carson Dimoff (Fitzgerald & Carroll) would tie the game early in the 3rd with a quick wrist shot from the slot.  The teams stayed tied at 2 through regulation and the 5 minute overtime period.  In the shootout Austin would get the first goal but Andy Carroll would keep the Wings in it with a tieing goal as the 3rd skater, then Joey Strada would give the Wings the lead as the #4 shooter.  Forbes Ploszaj stood tall in net all night long for the Wings making 19 saves in regulation/overtime and stopping 3 of 4 in the shootout.

The Wings are back at it tomorrow night in Austin.  Puck drop is 7:05CST and you can watch the game at Buffalo Wings and Rings in Aberdeen or on HockeyTV.com.  As always you can listen to the game on 94.1 The Rock, HubCityRadio.com or the Hub City Radio App!
