This Thursday we focus on the Wings 3-2 overtime win at Brookings January 13th 2016!

The Wings made the trip down I29 to face the Brookings Blizzard on a rare Wednesday night game.  The Wings fell behind early when Brookings was able to get a goal midway through the 1st period.  The Wings would respond with only 6 seconds remaining in the period with a Kevin Fitzgerald (Matt Pulver & Kyle Siemers) goal.  Kevin Fitzgerald (Andrew Noel & Matt Pulver) would add another goal late in the 2nd period to give the Wings a 2-1 lead heading into the final 20.  Brookings would tie the game at 2 a little over midway through the 3rd sending the game into overtime.  In the extra period it would be Matt Pulver(Tanner Okeson) getting his 1st goal of the night and his 3rd point with the game winning goal. Peter Thome was in net for the win and made 34 saves on 36 shots.
