Brookings 3 @ Aberdeen 0 – Three goals in the second period led Brookings a 3-0 shutout win over Aberdeen to start the weekend. Chase Gamelin (2) and Brandon Kruse each found their way onto the board, netting goals for the Blizzard. Brookings’ goaltender Nick Althaus earned his first shutout of the season with 32 saves. Aberdeen’s Arttu Kulmala made 23 saves in the loss.  Boxscore

Minot 4 @ Aberdeen 3 (OT) – The Wings stormed back from down 3-0 to take a point, but the Minotauros came out with the win thanks to Austin Dollimer’s first goal of the season as Minot picked up a 4-3 overtime win in Aberdeen. Minot led 3-0 midway through the 2nd period with goals from Tyler Jeanson, Grayson Gavin and Alex Adams. The Wings stormed back with a late 2nd period goal from Carter Roo and two, 3rd period goals from Carson Dimoff. Lucas Murray made 28 saves in the win. Boxscore
