Your Aberdeen Wings (4-7-0) hit the road this Friday and head north to take on the Bismarck Bobcats (6-4-0). The Wings will be looking to continue building momentum off last weekend’s road split with the Minnesota Wilderness. The bus windshield has been a familiar view for the Wings as Friday marks their 7th road game of the young season, (2 home games were also played in Blaine, MN). Aberdeen will continue to look to their veteran presence to help lead the young guys. Carter Roo is the current team leader in points with 11 (4G, 7A) followed by fellow vet Kevin Fitzgerald with 8 points (3G,5A).
Fridays game time is 7:15 from the VFW Sports Center in Bismarck, ND. Saturday the Wings return to the Odde for their annual Pink in the Rink night vs. Minot! We are encouraging everyone to wear pink or plan to purchase t-shirts, bandanas & rally towels in the lobby with all the proceeds going to Team Aberdeen to help support the Susan G. Komen foundation for Cancer Research. Doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7:15!
