Your Aberdeen Wings (28-23-3-2) will look to lock up a playoff spot this weekend when they travel to the Minnesota Magicians (29-21-3-3). The Wings are currently in 3rd place in the NAHL Central Division, 5 points behind the 2nd place Minnesota Wilderness, 2 points ahead of 4th place Brookings Blizzard & 5 points ahead of the Bismarck Bobcats who currently sit in the 5th spot out of the playoffs. The Austin Bruins have been eliminated from playoff contention. The Wings Magic number is 3. Meaning a weekend sweep, a win and an overtime or shootout loss, 1 win and a Bismarck loss or Bismarck being swept will allow the Wings to clinch. This will be the first trip for the Wings to the Magicians this season. In the only other weekend meeting this season the Wings were able to sweep the Magicians out of the Odde. Aberdeen will be looking to continue to build off their sweep of Brookings last weekend.
