Wings Lose 3-2 @ Minot

Tuesday night, the Aberdeen Wings were in action on the road taking on the Minot Minotauros. The odd mid-week game would be a 3-2 loss for the Wings.

In the first period, on the power play Wings forward #13 Michael Soucier (F-Caledon, Ontario) would find the back of the net with assists to #16 Kyle Haak (F-Okemos, MI) and #24 Ronnie Hein (F-Chelsea, MI). The power play goal would be the 3rd for the Wings against Minot this year.

To start the second period, Wings forward #25 Tucker DeYoung (F-Lake Bluff, IL) would score off an assist from #13 Michael Soucier. The Wings would hold the 2-0 lead until the 6:51 mark when Minot would score on the power play. Minot came into the game 0-10 against Aberdeen on the power play, but would make it 2-1 going into the locker room.

To start the third period, Minot scored right away making it 2-2. Another power play opportunity for the Minotauros would result in another goal giving them the lead. The Wings rallied and put a good line of shots on goal in the final minutes but could not find the net. The loss drops Aberdeen to 10-9-0 and improves Minot to 12-5-2.
