The Aberdeen Wings acquired defenseman Zac Goodrich via trade with the Janesville Jets this week.

Goodrich, a native of White Lake, Michigan, joins the Wings after playing in 14 games for the Janesville Jets. Last season, he also spent 5 games with the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL. Prior to joining the NAHL this season, Goodrich played in 64 games with the Honeybaked Midget Major team tallying 2 goals and 12 assists for 14 points. “Zac is a solid, athletic defenseman who defends hard and moves the puck well,” said Wings head coach Francis Anzalone. “He is a quality person and a hungry player who will make our team stronger.”

Goodrich will join fellow White Lake, Michigan native and Wings defenseman #29 Matt Sherman. The Wings will travel to Bismarck Friday for NAHL action.
