Your Aberdeen Wings (22-11-3-0) host the Brookings Blizzard (15-18-2-2) at the Odde Ice Center this Wednesday night. This is the first of two mid week match ups between the two teams this season. The Wings are 5-3 vs. the Blizzard so far this season including a home & home sweep the last time the teams met in late December. The Wings will be looking to rebound from a loss for the first time since before Christmas, and begin building a new winning streak. Aberdeen has a potential 6 point weekend looking them in the eyes with a trip to the Minnesota Wilderness right around the corner. First things first however, The Wings will be looking to reigning NAHL Central Division star of the week Nic Sicoly who is coming off a 2 goal and 3 assist weekend. This will be the final game of a 5 game home stand for the Wings before they hit the road. But they’ll return to the Odde the following weekend (Feb. 2 &3) to start a 4 game home stand.
