The Aberdeen Wings have announced the signing of defenseman Kyle Siemers of the AAA Chicago Fury to a tender contract for the 2015-2016 season.
Siemers is currently the leading scorer for the AAA Chicago Fury with 6 goals and 12 assists. The 6-1, 205 lbs. defenseman had 2 goals and 8 assists last season with the Cleveland Barons and 9 goals and 20 assists in midget majors. The native of Crown Point, Indiana will join the Wings for Main Camp in July of 2015.
"Kyle is a complete defenseman that contributes offensively while playing hard minutes against the oppositions top scoring lines," said Aberdeen Wings Director of Scouting Mike Grattan. "His ability to defend hard and jump into the play fits with how we want our defensemen to play the game."
