The Aberdeen Wings recently announced their partnership with Out of the Darkness, Suicide Prevention in Northeast South Dakota. The partnership will continue this weekend as members of the Wings organization will participate in the Out of the Darkness Walk to be held this Saturday, September 12th at the Odde Ice Center. Registration is from 9-9:45am in the lobby of the Odde, with the walk beginning at 10am. Registration is just $15 to walk or $20 to walk and receive a t-shirt. After the walk plan to stick around for a meet and greet with the players and coaches, and enjoy a meal provided by Arby’s. That night be sure to wear your Out of the Darkness T-shirt to the Wings game vs. Brookings to receive FREE admission! All proceeds from the Wings exhibition games go to benefit the Out of the Darkness Northeast South Dakota Chapter.
November 7th the Wings will again team up with Out of the Darkness as the specialty jersey auction for the 2015-2016 season. The jerseys, pictured here, will be auctioned off following the game November 7th vs. Minot. Once again all proceeds from the auction will go to the Out of the Darkness, Northeast South Dakota Chapter. Plan on coming out and supporting a great cause!
